Dee, I was so sad to read the news of your mom’s passing. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.” Ps 116:15 I know that He was with you both at that moment. What a beautiful gift to be with her, holding her hand when she passed. May He comfort you as only He can as you mourn that she is no longer here and may he give you strength for everything that comes in the next days.

In Spanish there is a saying: Madre, solo hay una (Mother-there is only one.). And it’s so true! I pray you will find comfort in the One who gave you your mom and has now taken her home to be with Him.
