Good Morning, Lord link

We greet the Lord as we rise so that we may offer our first thought,
our fresh words to the One who can carry us through our busy day.
Before our feet hit the floor or our children rise or our minds are filled with the busy events of the day,
we take a moment to talk to our gracious God.

Good morning, Lord!
I offer to you my day,
All of my joys and my sufferings, my cares and my concerns,
My accomplishments and my failures.
All that I have, all that I do, is yours.
Keep me in your care. Guard me in my actions.
Teach me to love, and help me to turn to you throughout the day.
The world is filled with temptations. As I move through my day,
keep me close.
May those I encounter feel your loving presence.
Lord, be the work of my hands and my heart.
Amen.

A prayer for anxiety and depression link

Dear Lord,
I come to You today to ask for help.
You are my everything. Lord, I need rest. I give You my worry.
Take it, Lord. I accept Your peace, love, and understanding.
Help me to turn to You and not to myself.
Help me to stop doing and start trusting.
Help me to wait on Your answers, because I know that they are good.
Give me wisdom, hope, and peace. Thank you, Lord, for Your patience and grace.
I love You, and I know You love me so much more than I could ever imagine.
Amen.

A prayer of Jerome link

Lord, thou hast given us thy Word for a light to shine upon our path;
grant us so to meditate on that Word, and to follow its teaching,
that we may find in it the light that shines more and more until the perfect day;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom
and the power and the glory
forever and ever.
Amen

Benediction

And grace be with you all
And may the Great Shepherd of the sheep
Equip you with all things for doing His will
And grace be with you all.
Amen

  1. Hi Pastor Wade.
    Thanks again for your inspiring message.
    Note: as the volume of your voice goes up during your presentation, we lower the dial, the volume on our device. Maybe this works differently in person, however, from a device this is what we do.
    Again, we appreciate what you have to share.
    And thanks to Emmanuel Enid for this generosity in sharing your blessing.
