Here is our Order of Worship

A Prayer of Love link

God, my Father,
May I love You in all things and above all things.
May I reach the joy which You have prepared for me in Heaven.
Nothing is good that is against Your Will,
and all that is good comes from Your Hand.
Place in my heart a desire to please You and fill my mind with thoughts of Your Love,
so that I may grow in Your Wisdom and enjoy Your Peace.
Amen

An Orthodox Prayer for Comfort link

Almighty God,
the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
come to my help and deliver me from this difficulty that besets me.
I believe Lord, that all trials of life are under Your care
and that all things work for the good of those who love You.
Take away from me fear, anxiety and distress.
Help me to face and endure my difficulty with faith, courage and wisdom.
Grant that this trial may bring me closer to You
for You are my rock
and refuge, my comfort and hope,
my delight and joy.
I trust in Your love and compassion.
Blessed is Your name,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
now and forever.
Amen.

Scripture Reading:  Luke 18:28-30 (NASB Bible Gateway)

Peter said, “Behold, we have left our own homes and followed You.” And He said to them, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times as much at this time and in the age to come, eternal life.”

Benediction: St Theresa of Avila link

Be not perplexed,
Be not afraid,
Everything passes,
God does not change.
Patience wins all things.
He who has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.
Amen!

  1. Thanks for praying for our lovely dog. It is a hot spot and not cancer. So grateful. He is on meds and healing. Thanks, God, and thanks to all who prayed. (Our last husky passed due to cancer, however, he was of age. So, a bit of a panic attack, but we are OK.)

Now a prayer of financial concern – that popped up out of left field this past week. Need to resolve ASAP. Timing. Thanks so much, in advance for praying, for complete resolution and restoration. God bless you all, a hundredfold.
