I have been asked by a number of people for an update on Karen Hinkley. Karen and I talk regularly and I am hoping to visit her in a couple of weeks.
Karen is doing as well as can be expected. She is slowly regaining her strength and footing from the ordeal that she has been through in the last 8 months. She is one strong lady. She has some wonderful plans for the future and I hope to be able to share those with you in the coming months. I know that just about everyone will stand up and cheer.
In the meantime, she is working to get her apartment furnished. When she left for the mission field, she intended to serve there for many years. Therefore, she sold off most of her belongings. She has just received an offer for a job to make ends meet as she prepares for her future. I plan to keep the Go Fund Me open for the near future.

It takes a while to rebuild after such an ordeal both emotionally and financially. I hope she will be patient with herself!

Thanks for the update. I am so glad that Karen is moving on. I am so pleased that a strong woman took on a big church , did so in a Godly way and prevailed. That took courage, strength, a true sense of righteousness and the
Power of God. Kind of reminds me of David and Goliath. That makes Karen a hero. Other women can look to her example and say ” If she can do it then maybe I can do something about my situation”. Blessings to Karen and to TWW for getting the word out
