At this point, the local Tulsa police are saying that the new law does not appear to apply to the women molested by Joe Campbell in Oklahoma. However, more research is being done, including police reports sent to Missouri law enforcement. I am heartened by the fact that an outside group is looking into and helping with this situation. That is all I can say at this point, but I will explain all in the future. Here is what I have written to this point.
- “Pastor” Joe Campbell, Who Now Leads Jim Bakker’s Morningside Church, Is Credibly Accused of Molesting a Young Teen He Arranged to Live with His Family
- Pastor Joe Campbell, as well as His Wife Becky, Are Further Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse By Three More Victims: Kerri, Kim, and Sarah.
- Cheryl Almond Waited Years to Accuse Pastor Joe Campbell of Sexually Abusing Her When She Was 14. Could There Be Many More Victims?
- The Assemblies of God, Southern MO, Botched a Statement on Joe Campbell’s Five Victims. Are Internal Trials Still Ongoing? Still Looking for Joe Campbell and Jim Bakker.
- Jim Bakker and Joe Campbell: It’s a Crime and a Disorder; Not a Simple Transgression.
- Joe Campbell’s Oklahoma Victims Have Filed Police Reports and Jody Kirk Comes Forward and Tells His Story of Abuse by Joe and Becky Campbell.
In the meantime, I intend to follow Joe and Becky Campbell’s activities.
Joe Campbell then
This picture was snapped way back when by one of the victims. Can you imagine ever getting this close to your pastor?
What is Lori’s House?
According to the video at this link:
Inspired by prophecy, Jim and Lori Bakker were led to build Lori’s House to offer not just an objection to abortion, but an option. With donations from all over the world, Lori’s house was built to minister to women in their time of need and remind them of their Lord’s love. At Lori’s house, each woman receives an individualized program that is carefully designed for her. This includes Advocate Counseling, Life-Building Classes, job training, parenting classes, and Bible Studies that are paid for from the generosity of donors who believe in making a stand for life. As Founder and President of Lori’s House, Lori Bakker knows it takes hope to give life and she is determined to do all she can to keep other girls from going through the pain and tears that she has shed over the loss of her five babies.
I learned that the house is named for Jim Bakker’s wife, Lori Bakker.
Founder & President
All she ever wanted to be was a mother…
Lori Graham Bakker was raised in a middle-class, church-going family. In her teens she turned away from the faith, and began to live a life filled with Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll.
Lori began a relationship at the age of 17 with a man who became her first husband. The marriage turned out to be a nightmare of violence and abuse. She escaped the pain with more drugs. Then she found out she was pregnant.
For Lori, abortion was never a thought, but to keep her spouse, it was the only option. Five times she became pregnant. Five times he demanded she get rid of it. The last abortion left complications that caused her to have a total hysterectomy at the of 22.
Lori knows the incredible devastation of abortion but she also came to know the beauty and incredible adventure of motherhood when God led her and her new husband Jim Bakker to adopt five children from the inner city of Phoenix. They were inspired by prophecy to build Lori’s House to offer not just an objection to abortion, but an option.
Joe and Becky Campbell now
Becky and Joe Campbell are involved in Lori’s House, part of Jom Bakker’s ministry.
Joe Campbell shows up in this video as providing services at the House
He is the pastor of Morningside Ministries, home of the Jim Bakker Show.
Here, he is preaching on the Blessings of Obedience…
Becky Campbell is on the staff of Lori’s House.
Message from Mrs. Becky
Mrs. Becky Campbell
I am humbled to be involved with the dream of Lori’s House as it unfolds. God gave Pastor Jim and Lori Bakker a heart to help hurting expectant women, bringing them into a place of refuge and restoration as lives are saved.
The purpose of Lori’s House is to provide a place of Love, Hope, Healing, and Safety for expectant women. Pastor Jim and Lori have invested and prayerfully planned each detail of this magnificent home, to ensure each Lady knows they are loved from the start.
God has prepared and brought me here. Each step I have taken was planned and ordained by God. “For such a time as this”, God passionately loves and cares for his children.
I am determined and honored to do God’s will for each Lady that enters. My desire is to make my heavenly father proud as lives are saved and changed by his power.
Joe and Becky Campbell donated a chapel to Jim Bakker’s ministries.
There is a heart at Morningside surrounded by the beauty of the Ozarks and built for the Glory of God! Prayer Mountain Chapel sits as a beacon above the hills and valleys calling for prayer and reverence.
This 120-year old chapel was donated to Morningside USA by Pastor Joe and Becky Campbell.
References to Camp Bell are nowhere to be found.
Joe and Becky used to have a camp ministry for kids and families. However, I can no longer find a reference to this online. I wonder why it has disappeared.
Final thoughts
It is evident that Joe and Becky Campbell continue to be involved with Jim Bakker and his various ministries. Do those who access these ministries know of Joe and Becky Cambell’s past? Would they be concerned if they did? Why does Jim Bakker feature a decredentialed pastor.? Maybe Jim Bakker hasn’t changed much, either.
Wow! Thank you for posting all of this info about Joe and Becky Campbell. “Then and Now”…has anything changed? Good point!

“Lori Graham Bakker”.
I assume this is Tammy’s Trophy Replacement?
One of the Inner Ring, living the Lifestyle of the Rich and Godly as trophy wife of a CELEBRITY, with all that $$$$$ pouring in from all those Armageddon/Tribulation food buckets, colloidal silver COVID cures, and widows’ Social Security Checks.

Off topic but regionally related: keep Blue Eye and all of us in the general region in prayer please! Last weekend we had an ice storm/snow storm. We personally did not lose power or have any issues other than our mail is stuck up in the KC processing facility and has been for 6 days or so now. Need it to move, lol. KC was hit with what for them was really major snow storm. Those of us further south got more ice, which is still on the trees.
And we have what for us is a major snow storm due in tonight. Please pray power stays on, folks travelling are safe, and that the mail gets moving (some depend on it for meds) and that the stores are able to restock quickly (storm prep buying has emptied many of them.)

The “there is a sucker born every minute” aspect of evangelical Christianity is just breathtaking… I bet many of the people that are follows of this do not remember/know of the first “round” of Jim and Tammy..
Jeffrey J Chalmers(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
Anybody else remember “I ran into Tammy Faye at the mall” t-shirts? Or when people renamed PTL as “Pass the Loot”?
Grumpy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
Dee,
You wrote in your OP:
That.
And my apologies to Christians….
How many of the girls and / or women have a choice when they end up going to (having to go to) a place like Lori’s House, where there MIGHT be some good that happens (but I highly doubt it)?
How many of the girls and / or women will end up being brainwashed into the usual “Christian” way of thinking, which includes the usual shaming of the girl and / or woman?
And how many of these girls and / or women might end up being triggered by being preached to (at)? And not necessarily by the “pastor”.
And how many of these girls and / or women might end up being triggered by being prooftexted to (at)? And not necessarily by the “pastor”.
And how many of these girls and / or women might end up being turned off from Christianity, even though Jesus Christ wouldn’t treat them the way they’re mostly likely going to be treated at Lori’s House? And that’s not including the already known proclivities of Joe and Becky Campbell and Jim Bakker — which we know were NOT part of Jesus Christ’s ministry!
My prayers are with these girls and / or women, not Joe and Becky Campbell, or Jim and Lori Bakker.

Aside from all the underage sex scandals, more than anything else, this stuff is funny.

Please continue to post on any further interactions with the AoG of Missouri on Joe Campbell. A lot of questions:
It doesn’t look like he was prosecuted at all and served anytime in jail?
Also, was level of restitution was given to the victims?
And last how in world is Joe back behind a pulpit? Looks like there were cronies that vouched for him about these incidences.
Definitely please do follow ups as more information comes out.
Casey(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
I sound like a broken record, but I truly do not understand why when these people get punished for something, with severe consequences (liking spending time in jail), and then they get released, forgiven, etc. they do not just go away and stay out of that limelight. Find a new line of work. Be thankful every day that you can just pay your bills and have no articles written about you. They are like disgusting moths to a (lime) light, instead of taking note of 1 Thessalonians 4:11. Love the idea of Lori’s house and I support something like that near me, where women who want to keep their babies have the choice and help to do so. But ugh, know your staff!!
JJallday(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
These offenses are permanently disqualifying from ministry. A genuine pastor would know that and never seek another pulpit … genuine church elders would never restore such men to ministry (of course, genuine pastors/elders would never find themselves in such a mess) … so illegitimate counterfeits continue to work the church to their advantage and gullible churchgoers let them.
Max(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
YES to both.
I also remember Jim & Tammy in the middle of the scandal happy-talk publishing a ketchup-heavy recipe for Sloppy Joes, the radio station I listened to making the recipe and sampling it on the air, and concluding “Where’s Lorne Greene and his 150-year-old-dog?” (reference to an Alpo dog food commercial of the time).
And (more ominous) the comments outside the PTL True Believers that “God’s a crock of S**t and Jim & Tammy are the living proof!”
Headless Unicorn Guy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
Real South Park or Death of Stalin material.
Headless Unicorn Guy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
Well, when going to anyplace else means Rebellion against The Father and Eternal Hell…
Hellfire and God’s Wrath seem to be the ONLY motivator Christians can think of!
Headless Unicorn Guy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
I find the food buckets to somehow be incredibly funny but in the end sad at the same time. Incredibly funny, like an unintentional parody that I can’t take remotely seriously. And sad, because somebody is figuratively and literally buying this. The set full of buckets at 2:46. At 4:07, the 22 gallons of cheesy broccoli in a blue bucket being stirred with a garden shovel. Then it gets poured into the 22 gallons of rice. “Now, I have 44 gallons!” Wow.

Grumpy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
And with Jim Bakker in the loop, these are literally ARMAGEDDON buckets. I think one of the packages (priced somewhere in mid-four-figures) is SEVEN MAN-YEARS, i.e. The Entire Great Tribulation for One. Remember Bakker’s ad blurb: “The World is Dying, but You’re Eating Like a King!”
There are several videos on the Web from those who actually tried Bakker’s Buckets. Every one of them describes the contents as the absolute worst thing they ever ate, total garbage.
As for those actually buying these, well, it’s the Rapture Ready crowd (though that makes no sense; after all “I’ll Be Gone!”). But then, it’s the CHRISTIANS(TM).
Headless Unicorn Guy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
Now you really got my stomach growling for dinner.
Think I’ll whip me up some cheesy broccoli in a blue bucket.
If I only had a garlic knot.
Sandy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
At least where I live, which is in the heart of Bakker country, there is a ready made market for those buckets! Most folks around here DO prep, and some folks are naturally lazy and want whatever they can acquire quickly and throw on a shelf.
Real preppers in the area are not necessarily rapture ready, either. With the new Calvinism has come the new amil emphasis.
But some prep because they believe the country is going to self destruct (as polarized as we are, maybe) or the economy collapse (again, maybe) or war come (it could. Greenland could be the catalyst.)
All that said, most prep so when the ice storms/snow storms/tornados make it impossible to get to town you really don’t need to go. That, and home grown/processed/stored is cheaper and healthier and tastier.
Wonder if I could figure out how to sell my enchiladas instant in a bucket??
linda(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
I’d loan ya’ some of mine but most of em’ are tied up for use against vampires.
Muff Potter(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
I learned that in Boy Scouts 70 years ago … Be Prepared!
Max(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
Does this have the scene where Jim Bakker shows how you can make furniture out of Armageddon Buckets and plywood? Tables, Sofas/Benches, Beds, you name it? Ready and Waiting for Armageddon?
“BUT WAIT – THERE’S MORE!”
Headless Unicorn Guy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
Headless Unicorn Guy,
P.S> Maybe he can do commercials like those Jehovah’s Witnesses “Bunker Videos” that have been making the rounds on YouTube reaction videos. A Faithful Remnant huddled in a basement bunker during Armageddon hiding from Antichrist’s Enforcers, only instead of Parables teaching JW doctrine they’re Testimonies shilling Armageddon Buckets.
Headless Unicorn Guy(Reply & quote selected text) (Reply to this comment)
From the description of those who have actually tried Bakker’s Armageddon Buckets, you could do a better job with a colonoscopy prep using the bucket instead of the regular crapper. Put a Bible Verse on the bucket and invoke The Mark of the Beast and the Christians will still buy it.
