Steer the ship of my life, good Lord, to your quiet harbour, where I can be safe from the storms of sin and conflict.
Show me the course I should take. Renew in me the gift of discernment, so that I can always see the right direction in which I should go.
And give me the strength and the courage to choose the right course, even when the sea is rough and the waves are high,
knowing that through enduring hardship and danger in your name we shall find comfort and peace.

The topic is somewhat radioactive — I’ve had to avoid it entirely in interacting with dear friends who are Darbyites and fearful of incurring a divine curse for speaking any word of criticism of the government of a certain nation.
Developments over the last year have led me to suspect that the reputation of YHWH and of Jesus (or at least of US-style Jesus-oriented religion) is likely to take a hit in the wider world, along the lines of Romans 2:24 and its OT antecedents.

As a survivor of the Gospel According to Hal Lindsay and Jack Chick, I can attest it already has but Christians are too sealed off in their bubble to notice. I can also attest that those teachings (excuse me, The Plain Meaning of SCRIPTURE) begets a deep deep distrust of God and Christ.
A couple weeks ago, I came across a comment thread on a YouTube video on the subject that included a comment from a Jew. Said comment was that he was aghast when he discovered the Christians idea of The Second Coming was entirely Death and Destruction, Fear and Terror. In Judaism, the Coming of Messiah is a message of Hope, that everything will be made anew and what is wrong will be removed.
P.S. When you are in the Christianese Bubble, there is NOTHING other than Darbyism. When I was in-country in the Seventies (when Henry Kissinger and/or the King of Spain was PROVEN from SCRIPTURE to be The Antichrist and The Rapture Was Any Minute Now), I heard NOTHING else. Only when I left the bubble did I find out there were other End Of The World choreographies.

This is Entirely GOD’s doing, with the corollary that anyone who doubts this is The Enemy of GOD (“Whose Side Are You On? GOD or Satan?”) Israel Can Do No Wrong, with GOD’s Wrath as Enforcer. But the Jews still deny Christ (see Replacemnt Theology) and GOD will SMITE them for this at Armageddon. (Remember the Christian coming of Messiah: all Death & Destruction, Fear & Terror.
