Epiphany: Gregorian Sacramentary
Almighty and eternal God,
Brightness of faithful souls,
you brought the Gentiles to your light,
and made known to them him who is the true Light,
and the bright and morning Star.
Fill the world with your glory,
and show yourself by the radiance of your light to all nations;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
For Grace: Liturgy of the Blessed Apostles
O our Lord and God,
do not look on our many sins,
and do not turn away
because of the seriousness of our iniquities.
In your unspeakable grace
sanctify your servants,
forget our many sins,
and be merciful when you will appear at the end of time,
in the Man whom you have appointed to be our judge,
that we may receive your grace and mercy,
and praise you with all your holy ones.
Amen.
For Light and Guidance: Leonine Sacramentary, fifth century
O Lord,
enlighten our hearts
by your holy radiance, Jesus Christ,
that we may serve you without fear
in holiness and righteousness
all the days of our life.
In him may we survive the storms of this world,
and by his guidance reach the country of eternal brightness;
through your mercy, O blessed Lord,
you live and govern all things,
now and forever.
Amen.
Benediction link
May God the Father
prepare your journey,
Jesus the Son
guide your footsteps,
The Spirit of Life
strengthen your body,
The Three in One
watch over you,
on every road
that you may follow.
Amen
I watched this interview with Chuck DeGroat first on The Roys Report and then again here. It’s worth seeing several times. Thanks for posting here, Dee, your work is appreciated.
