God of Hope,
we come into your presence this morning
with confidence that you will meet us here.
Where there is sadness, bring joy;
Where there is tiredness, bring refreshment;
Where there is despair, bring a renewed sense of hope.
Let this place be a sanctuary,
a safe haven for us,
a home for holy words and songs and prayers
as we devote ourselves to you.
We pray this in Jesus’ name
Amen
A Prayer of Ambrose (c 339-97) link
O Lord, who hast mercy upon all, take away from me my sins,
and mercifully kindle in me the fire of thy Holy Spirit.
Take away from me the heart of stone,
and give me a heart of flesh,
a heart to love and adore thee,
a heart to delight in thee,
to follow and to enjoy thee,
for Christ’s sake.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
Nicene Creed link
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him, all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven;
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate of the Virgin Mary and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
He suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
Benediction: Jude 1:24-25 (NASB Bible Gateway)
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord,
be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever.
Amen.

“Our body is a Temple of the living God,” Briscoe refers to biblical references, 1 Cor. 6, Romans 12, while drawing diagrams.
Then along comes a predator that violates the body of a child of God. Reality, even as this child of God dedicates their body to living for Jesus.
However, this reality is not on the preacher’s white board.
Hebrews 11. Hang on to Jesus, dear child of God, even as you are not on the preacher’s whiteboard. Hebrews 11 has your reality covered. You are on God’s whiteboard.

Even some effectively struggling churches (in some aspect) do at least recite the Creed and Lord’s Prayer frequently. So, where do the self-proclaimed good ones think they are going by not bothering?
Jesus was with Holy Spirit; he witnessed in Holy Spirit to the visit by the unborn Baptist; He was baptised by Holy Spirit.
Our hearts warmed while we first heard of His work; He breathed on us; and He distributed gifts in ascending.
Our work in the present eschaton (the time of signs) began then because we tarry and minister at the same time.
