    $700,000!!!

    $700,000!!!

    If true, that’s disgraceful. How many folks who were laid off during the last recession received such generous severance packages? That it, if they received any severance pay at all? And the vast majority of those folks performed far more honorably in their positions than Chris Conlee or Andy Savage.

  15. Actually, I didn’t know Dr. Oz had a TV show. I seldom watch TV anymore. I’ve seen a show called “The Doctors” on TV while waiting at the Doctor’s office. Absolutely insufferable. I really hate daytime TV.

    But it’s really encouraging to see that Jules Woodson will be interviewed. I will watch that.

    Did anyone see this article on a new book by Andrew Sullivan? He writes on corruption in the Vatican, and throughout the Catholic Church. Caution: It’s heavy. But it would explain lots of things. I’m still angry about what the book reveals. I’m not sure how much of this is true, or if the author is reliable, but if even half of the allegations are true…
