Dee in Boca Raton Tuesday through Friday: Would Love to Meet Up With Any Readers

My husband has a conference at the Boca Raton Resort and Club. I think it is a Waldorf place. He felt I needed a break and is bringing me along. Besides, I make him laugh a lot. I would love to meet up with anyone who could get to me at the hotel. I will still be blogging during the time. Please drop me a comment or leave a message on TWW phone line. 919-792-8632

Dee, I am very busy on Tuesday-Thursday of this week. Friday will be ok. I may not have very much phone time until then.

Don’t worry. This can wait until the weekend or next week.

Great. Thank you. I’ve got company on Saturday. So next week would be better for me.

  5. if i can manage to be super spontaneous i’ll give priceline a shot and see if they happen to like my very low offer for airfare, hotel, & car rental for somewhere near boca raton, Thursday evening. should i just stand outside the hotel and yell “Deeeeeeeeeeeee….. Deeeeeeeeeeee…..”?

If you want a ride, Elastigirl, you have to stand outside and yell “Adorable Dee!”

  7. Have a wonderful time! I love Boca, just not the traffic. If you are looking for something to do, the lighthouse at Hillsboro Inlet is just a hop, skip, and a jump down A1A from there. It’s gorgeous. I’m not sure when they run tours, but I think the grounds are open daily.

  8. Oops, I was wrong. The Hillsboro lighthouse is only accessible a few days a year. Sorry for the bad info.

  9. Dee, the New Calvinists monitoring TWW are probably thinking of the following Scripture in regard to your rest and relaxation in Florida: “There is no rest for the wicked” (Isaiah 48:22). But, to those of us who know that you are engaged in the Lord’s work on earth to expose and warn, know that the following Scripture applies to your sojourn: “For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His” (Hebrews 4:10). There is also rest, peace and joy this side of heaven for the faithful, when He sends times of refreshing!

Enjoy your break! … then get back to work!!

  10. @ dee:
Will you be meeting up with @pastortullian (tullian tchananagans)? Or did he stay in Orlando after his non-ministerial Ministry Director job failed to meet expectations?

Watch out for those Burmese pythons down there in Florida!

Never mind the pythons, watch out for those monsoon rainstorms.

  12. And red-tail boa constrictors! But, I’m not worried – you’re good at seeing snakes in the grass. ;^)

LOL – I don’t think the real TT is in FL. Try TX instead 🙂 @pastortullian is a parody account (with far more truth than parody).

    And the alligators!

    No Joke:
The same types of idiots who allowed the Burmese python to get loose into the Florida ecosystem, have also allowed the Nile crocodile (the largest and most aggressive of them all) to get loose too.

In one sense, pastor tshananigans is more real than the original. But I have real trouble “following” twittering, so am hoping you or the Deebs will post an update soon.

Yes, “invasive” species is a growing problem in the U.S. Florida has the largest number of invasive amphibians and reptiles in the world! Experts trace the introduction of most alien species in Florida primarily to the pet industry – folks get tired of caring for them and turn them loose to wreck havoc on native species and ecosystems. Florida law prohibits their release, but an offender has to get caught in the act before he can be prosecuted. (I spent a career as an environmental biologist studying such things)

P.S. Dee, I forgot to add the red-tail boa constrictor to the critters TWW readers want you to look out for. We just want you to get home safely and continue to hammer church abusers!

I sure hope so, too. This case is difficult because I have so much information, but people are afraid to come forward publicly with that info. This is a classic case of spiritual abuse and enforcing the no-talk rule (even when he is no longer serving as pastor).

  18. Anybody seen Tullian Tchividian’s new article on ExPastors called “The Freedom of Losing it All”? He obviously hasn’t lost it all, as the article is complete with links to his books as sold on Amazon.
