A Prayer of Love link
God, my Father,
May I love You in all things and above all things.
May I reach the joy which You have prepared for me in Heaven.
Nothing is good that is against Your Will,
and all that is good comes from Your Hand.
Place in my heart a desire to please You and fill my mind with thoughts of Your Love,
so that I may grow in Your Wisdom and enjoy Your Peace.
Amen

An Orthodox Prayer for Comfort link
Almighty God,
the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
come to my help and deliver me from this difficulty that besets me.
I believe Lord, that all trials of life are under Your care
and that all things work for the good of those who love You.
Take away from me fear, anxiety and distress.
Help me to face and endure my difficulty with faith, courage and wisdom.
Grant that this trial may bring me closer to You
for You are my rock
and refuge, my comfort and hope,
my delight and joy.
I trust in Your love and compassion.
Blessed is Your name,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
now and forever.
Amen.

Scripture Reading:  Hebrews 13:8 (NASB Bible Gateway)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Make Me Brave For Life link (Author unknown)
God, make me brave for life:
oh, braver than this.
Let me straighten after pain,
as a tree straightens after the rain,
Shining and lovely again.
God, make me brave for life;
much braver than this.
As the blown grass lifts,
let me rise
From sorrow with quiet eyes,
knowing Thy way is wise.
God, make me brave, life brings
such blinding things.
Help me to keep my sight;
help me to see aright
that out of dark comes light.

Benediction: St Theresa of Avila link
Be not perplexed,
Be not afraid,
Everything passes,
God does not change.
Patience wins all things.
He who has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.
Amen!

  1. Deb,Dee

    Let me thank you once again for not only publishing Wade’s excellent messages on your site but all the work and thought you put in to the Worship and Prayers. We find it so helpful and meaningful especially when like today, we are not able to get out to our usual place of worship.
    You provide a wonderful ministry to so many.

    Thanks again

  2. I love Sundays because of EChurch!

    Wade, thank you for another beautiful sermon. It’s so comforting to know that the character and attributes of Jesus is not influenced by outside influences so He remains steadfast in our unstable circumstances. It reminded me of a hymn we used to sing in church…

    On Christ the solid rock I stand…all other ground is sinking sand.

    Thanks, Deb and Wade!
