A Note from Silly Boy

The Wartburg Watch received this “private” communication. Presumably, he didn’t want to embarrass us in public. But, we don’t mind in the least. We have withheld his name to…..well, read it and you will understand. Needless to say, he is not a guest blogger. OK, Lydia and gang, we are posting this in order to show the world how some people think. I promise, I did not change one thing in this note except for his name. Yep, we are poor mentally imbalanced souls along with Tom Rich who also published a letter from this silly boy.

“ In your post, between where you wrote, "If he can clear his calendar, I will clear mine!" and where you wrote, "However, could either of you tell me when you sat down and had a thoughtful conversation with Tom Rich?" I wrote the following–

How self-centered and self-righteous can you silly women presume to become? No sincere and earnest New Testament pastor would waste his time “meeting” or even dialoguing with such as you two. Too many other people need to hear a clear and effective presentation of the gospel, which requires that a pastor’s time be spent in study and other work. Many faithful believers also need his support and help with their efforts to contend for the faith, particularly when coping with the likes of you two and those other “silly women” that Paul wrote about in II Timothy (and in other places where he assigned them other titles).

Dee & Deb, could menopause be part of what drives you two to publicly mount your utterly silly anti-biblical attacks on people with whom you are not even acquainted, people who have never done either of you or your families any harm, –people who have done many other people much good and encouraged them in the faith of our Lord, Jesus Christ? They are not perfect, but, at least, they are not publishing public attacks against you and your loved ones, as you two are doing to them.

Perhaps someday you two will get your hearts right and bring your “conversation” in line with godly, biblical speech and writing standards. When you do, you two will forsake your garbage filled public publishing attacks on Baptist churches and their chosen leaders who are winning thousands of people to faith in Christ and making good-faith efforts to exert a faithful Christian influence in America’s cities, towns and countrysides.

Then perhaps you will begin doing as I am doing now, writing privately to poor souls who obviously are in great need of biblical advice and admonition. I tried that with that poor soul named Tom Rich, but his obvious mental, emotional, spiritual problems drove him to publicize what I wrote him privately. I then even tried to continue a dialogue with him in his public forum, but his inner demons prevented him from allowing that. He quickly quit accepting my biblically based advice and counsel. (Like you two, Tom hallows your shared role model, Wade Burleson. Thankfully, Wade has made some real mental and spiritual progress in recent months. He resigned from the IMB and suspended his monotonously petty public publishing attacks on fellow pastors, preachers and other Christian leaders.)

Who is your pastor? Does he applaud and encourage you two to publish your antichristian public blog attacks on churches and pastors? Where did your pastor study to become a public supporter of Satan by sowing dissension and discord within churches, and fomenting criticism and hostility against preachers of the gospel of Christ? Did either or both of you study at a college or university that offers courses in such Satan support? What names do those institutions wear?

Ladies, please reassess what you are doing in light of clear biblical admonitions about what our speech should express and consider redirecting your writing skills to support Christ and His Church and her servants, rather than Satan. Admonish them if you must, but at least do it privately, as you would admonish someone you love.”

Sincerely,
“Silly Boy” (name changed for the sake of anonymity)
