EChurch@Wartburg: 09/5/2021 Ben Haden: What About Eternity?

Dear Wartburg Watch readers,
Sorry about getting this post up late and also for it being rather sparse. I also could not figure out how to import the sermon video to this post, so you will need to click the link to view it. I am partial to Ben Haden as I used to listen to his radio program, “Changed Lives” as a child. I am new to the EChurch posts so you will have to be patient with me.  Dee should resume her EChurch duties next week.

Thanks,
Todd

  1. From the OP: Sorry about getting this post up late and also for it being rather sparse. I also could not figure out how to import the sermon video to this post, so you will need to click the link to view it.

No apology necessary, Todd. 🙂 Having used (and coded in) WordPress (and used and coded in other computer applications software), I can empathize.

christiane: Glad to see ‘E Church’ continuing.

    That. 🙂

  2. Thank you, Todd, for including Dallas Holm singing the song He knew me then…Dallas Holm’s voice and the song’s lyrics were beautiful. As I listened to the song, and then looked the lyrics up online, I thought about how the title of the song changed in punctuation from He knew me then? (punctuated with a question mark) to He knew me then! (punctuated with an exclamation mark) to (from the lyrics of the song) He knows me now! (punctuated with an exclamation mark). Perhaps there will come a day when I will believe the lyrics in the song, He loved me then, and He loves me now, and both He loved me then and He loves me now will be punctuated with an exclamation mark.

  3. researcher: Perhaps there will come a day when I will believe the lyrics in the song, He loved me then, and He loves me now, and both He loved me then and He loves me now will be punctuated with an exclamation mark.

I appreciate your comment, researcher, and I do hope that day comes!
