5/12 Tom Chantry Allegedly Out of Jail, Awaiting Trial — 30 Comments

  1. It would be interesting to know if he is getting any assistance, and from who. Then, if would interesting to see if any of the alleged victims have received any help from the church…

No kidding! I can think of an infinite number of better uses of money than contributing to making his bail.

Remember Boz T’s testimony. In all his years as a prosecutor specializing in child sexual abuse cases, he has NEVER seen a church take the side of the victim. ALWAYS “RALLY ROUND THE PEDO, BOYZ!” with stated or implied “GOD SAITH!”.

  4. Why not just call the church and ask them if they or anyone person on their church or leadership has posted His bond! The worst they can do is lie but talk about heaping coals on their own heads if they do.

  5. Oh I forgot by doing that it would definitely shake em up a bit don’t ya think? Christians from everywhere calling in to ask if they or anyone in their church posted his bond. We call our congressman when we want answers how much more accountable is the leadership in any bible professing church? Shauna wrote:

  6. OT somewhat. Just saw this today at http://www.jwz.org – ‘Total Deductabilty: Calvinist Health Insurance’. All conditions are pre-existing because ‘god’ determined them from before the bdginning of the universe! Therefore company doesn’t have to pay for amything.

  7. @ TomkeinOK:
This link leads to a weird computer connection. Legit? Or virus?

However, the Babylon Bee has a post with the insurance information, posted 5.10.2017.

We are all hypocrites, even you, if you are being honest. Also, *so many pedophiles in the church.Let’s catch them all.*

    Let justice run its course

    I work in law.

What do you think the jury will do when they get this case?

    and when you follow the ‘humor’ to its logical point, you have a ‘religion’ of the hopeless, and loveless, and the smug;
where even if you are elect, you can mistreat the most innocent of God’s creatures and it’s ‘permitted’; and if someone dares to disagree with you, they are profaning a ‘male god’ whose ‘vision’ must be ‘followed’ even if it leads into the darkness ….

sometimes I think the extreme version of this strange ‘theology’ is straight out of the pit of hell because of its hopelessness

in the mean time, this hypocrite is for everyone keeping their innocent ones out of the reach of any rabid creature who is on the loose because of $$$$$

And the MoG’s attack dogs are let out of their kennel.

And the “smug” of the Elect on top is what keeps it going.

    Feature, not Bug.
Because “if you are Elect”, You Get To Do Anything You Want – ANYTHING – and Get Away With It.
    “GAWD HATH CHOSEN!”

  16. If Mr. Chantry is found innocent , are all you who have been bashing him going to personally apologize to him?

If he is found guilty, American justice will have done what it was set up to do.

This is not the Soviet Union, I trust my God that the truth will come out.

The courts do not find a defendant, in this case Mr. Chantry, innocent or guilty. The defendant is innocent until determined guilty through the application of appropriate legal standards, e.g., preponderance of evidence, beyond reasonable doubt.

You DO know that American & British law are about the only ones with “Innocent Until Proven Guilty”? In most of the rest of the world, it’s GUILTY until proven innocent.
