Here is our Order of Worship

A Prayer for the Hurting link

Lord Jesus,
Our souls are weary.
Our burdens heavy.
There is not a time when we don’t need You.
We ask for your grace- to relieve the pain.
We beg for your mercy- to extend beyond our reach.
We cling to your promises- with all we can muster.
We praise You for the clay You shape…
Into the beautiful sculpture
That reveals Your Glory.
Amen.

Scripture Reading:  Matthew 16:24-25 (NASB Bible Gateway)

Discipleship Is Costly

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

We are happy to be sharing an inspiring message delivered last Sunday by Abraham Wright. Abe serves as Community Evangelist at Emmanuel Enid. His bio includes the following:  'There are many walls that seem to prevent people from stepping into the doors of churches. My goal is to drop these walls in our community and build bridges where people feel safe to come and see what we are all about!'

For Strength and Wisdom link

Thank you, Lord, for being there for me and allowing me to cry out to you in my times of need.
It is amazing to me that the Lord of the Universe would take time to listen to me and to care about what I say.
God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand.
Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid.
Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord.
I know that the situation is in Your hand, and I trust You.
I beseech you for strength and for wisdom that I would be able to endure this situation
and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus name.
Amen.

The Aaronic Blessing

The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.”
Amen
