Cross in a Cemetery

Here is Our Order of Worship

Prayer for the Lenten Season link

Sovereign Lord,
your hand has touched
the dry bones of our faith,
your Word has breathed
new life where there was death,
your spirit raised
us up from where we lay,
your love has brought
us home and to your Cross,
and by your grace
we stand forgiven, free.
Hallelujah!

A Prayer for the Lenten Season link

Forgive those things we have done
which have caused you sadness,
and those things we should have done
that would have brought you joy.
In both we have failed
ourselves,
and you.
Bring us back to that place
where our journey began,
when we said that we would follow
the way that you first trod.
Lead us to the Cross
and meet
us there.
Amen

Scripture Reading:  Luke 10:8-16 (NASB Bible Gateway)

Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is set before you; and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, ‘Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.’ I say to you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.  But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be brought down to Hades!

“The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

A Benediction link

May we know the love of the heavenly Father deep in our hearts
May we understand our significance in the centre of His family,
and the bonds that hold us so close as brother and sister
May we understand the lengths that He was prepared to go for all mankind
and freely respond in the Today which he has given for us to cherish.
Amen

  1. Just listen to the first 2 minutes of this. Wade B is preaching a social gospel. LISTEN TO HIS DEFINITION OF THE GOSPEL. Wade B is promoting the same “gospel” of Rick Warren and the SBC which is called communitarianism. “Digging water wells in Niger…this is the gospel.” Wade B is promoting Druckerism…

  2. @ Bob J:

If you have questions about the sermon why don’t you just ask Wade instead of screaming about what he says in the first two minutes. He does respond to questions.

Well Bob J you come on accusing, with no reference into what you consider the true Gospel of Christ. maybe if you could refer us to what the true Gospel is or who you think promotes the true Gospel we could learn something and not be led astray.
