Here is Our Order of Worship

Ambrose of Milan, c 339-97 link

O Lord, who hast mercy upon all, take away from me my sins,
and mercifully kindle in me the fire of thy Holy Spirit.
Take away from me the heart of stone,
and give me a heart of flesh,
a heart to love and adore thee,
a heart to delight in thee,
to follow and to enjoy thee,
for Christ's sake.
Amen

The Lord's Prayer

Matthew 6:9-13 (NASB Bible Gateway)

‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
‘Give us this day our daily bread.
‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

[For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]

Scripture Reading:  Luke 9:51-56 (NASB Bible Gateway)

When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem;  and He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him. But they did not receive Him, because He was traveling toward Jerusalem. When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?” But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what kind of spirit you are of; for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went on to another village.

Benediction

Phillippians 4:6-7 NASB (Bible Gateway)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Amen.

  1. Thank you again Pastor Wade for your faithfulness is showing me Jesus loves me. I am so tired of being shamed…you are not tithing enough, involved in church enough, witnessing enough so our church will grow, etc. I love the fact that Jesus turns to us with such an intentional love, and with that love understanding we can love others, but it starts with the love of Jesus…..unconditionally.
