Here Is Our Order of Worship

Prayer of Benedict link

O gracious and holy Father,
give us wisdom to perceive you,
diligence to seek you,
patience to wait for you,
eyes to behold you,
a heart to meditate upon you,
and a life to proclaim you;
through the power of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Isaiah 40:31 (NASB Bible Gateway)

Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.

We are pleased to share an thought-provoking message delivered last Sunday by Michael Juliano, who is on staff at Emmanuel Enid and uses his gifts in worship arts.  He was a guest preacher here at TWW back in May.

Scripture Reading: Matthew 5:48 (NASB Bible Gateway)

Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

A Prayer by William Wilberforce link and link

O Lord,
reassure me with Your quickening Spirit; without You I can do nothing.
Mortify in me all ambition, vanity, vainglory, worldliness, pride,
selfishness, and resistance from God,
and fill me with love, peace, and all the fruits of the Spirit.

O Lord, I know not what I am, but to You I flee for refuge.
I would surrender myself to You, trusting Your precious promises
and against hope believing in hope.
You are the same yesterday, today, and forever; and therefore,
waiting on the Lord,  I trust that I shall at length renew my strength.

Jude 1:24-25 (NASB Bible Gateway)

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

  1. Please pray for me as I am feeling really ‘battle weary’. I know I am nearly to the end but my battle with the PCAust has been going now for over four years and just this weekend I began to feel really tired. Thank you for this wonderful Blog I enjoy listening to the Christian music that you put up every Sunday, it is a lovely way to finish to the day. May God richly bless all of you who are involved in this Blog. Rhonda

    Psalm 23:1-6
    The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
    He makes me to lie down in green pastures:
    He leads me beside the still waters.
    He restores my soul:
    He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
    Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil: for You are with me;
    Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.
    You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies:
    You anoint my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
    Surely goodness and mercy
    shall follow me all the days of my life:
    and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

    Psalm 23:1-6.
    The LORD Jesus is rhondajeannie’s Shepherd;
    And, rhondajeannie shall not want. For anything…
    The Lord God Almighty makes rhondajeannie to lie down in green pastures:
    And rest in Him…
    Jesus, the Prince of Peace leads rhondajeannie beside the still waters.
    In His Presence, Filled with His Joy, and His Peace.
    The Lord our Healer restores rhondajeannie’s soul:
    From those who have torn it apart, and tampled on it…
    The Lord heals rhondajeannie’s heart, His way. NOT apart from,
    BUT amid the hurts, pains, rejections, abandonments…

    The Holy Spirit leads rhondajeannie in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
    Yea, though rhondajeannie walks through the valley of the shadow of death,
    rhondajeannie will fear NO evil: From the PCA…
    Because, You, the God of all comfort, is with rhondajeannie, Always in ALL ways…
    Your rod and Your staff they comfort rhondajeannie.
    With your Love, your acceptance, appreciation, and respect for rhondajeannie.

    You prepare a table before rhondajeannie in the presence of her enemies:
    Your enemies. Abusers. Enemies of Love.
    You anoint rhondajeannie’s head with oil;
    And rhondajeannie is a King and a Priest unto you Lord, an Ambassador of Love.
    rhondajeannie’s cup is truly overflowing. With your Love.
    Surely goodness and mercy shall follow rhondajeannie all the days of her life:
    And rhondajeannie will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

  4. Thank you so much. You are all a part of my journey and your prayers and encouragement are going to help me see this through. I know when Jesus says ‘take up your cross and follow me’ He is leading us through. ‘For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms’ Eph 6:12.
