I apologize. My notes to myself got published. It has been deleted but we will look at the issue in the near future. Learning to tie the 25 ribbons on my daughter's bustle got the best of me!

To say the least!!!! When readers send suggestions, I start a draft post so I will not forget about it. And that is what happened. Thankfully, the name of the person and email address did not get copied

For a minute, I thought you were asking us to ignore the post about Kevin Swanson! Phew!

By the time the wedding is through in 1 week, I will be wandering the halls of my house like Ophelia.

  4. Deeeeeeeeeebs!!! Where is the next post…? I need to get my monthly John Piper rant out of my system! 🙂

Strength, encouragement and clarity of mind to you!
My daughter is engaged to be married June 2015. We are going to our first Bridal Show Thursday night.
Once you get your Ophelia phase over with, I could use a few pointers.

  6. Oops . . . If I had to tie 25 ribbons on MY daughter’s bustle, I’m sure my errors would not be an innocuous as yours! 😀

  7. Mercy, Dee–25 ribbons?! As in: Twenty-Five Ribbons!!! I tied up a single digit number of ribbons on the French bustle for a friend’s wedding recently. After one practice run, we realized this privilege was not for the faint of heart, neither was it intended for general audience viewing. We did, however, preserve the experience in a series of photos snapped after the ceremony in the Bride’s Room. We few friends snorted, chuckled, and howled as the bride kicked off her wedding shoes and stood on a large chair while I crawled betwixt slip and gown on the search for what ribbon went with which other ribbon. You’ll be a certified French bustle tier for sure, not to mention Super Mom!
