This week has been emotionally difficult on your blog queens. We decided to deal with a subject that was explicit and embarrassing. We did so because we believe that the Christian community has a right to know what this well-known pastor is saying. Church web sites are choosing to expunge Driscoll's controversial talks and only post the "G" rated presentations. We believe it is wrong to do so. Christians need to be aware of the full breadth of this man's words because he is affecting more and more young people. His advice is lacking in depth, yet he continues to run his mouth. There are consequences of his speech.
Next week we will return to other issues that while disturbing, are thankfully "G" rated. The links below show some other disconcerting sides to Driscoll. His arrogance is well-portrayed in these clips. These issues will be raised again as we move into the arena of subtle spiritual tyranny and pastoral arrogance. Driscoll is a card carrying member of the Calvinistas, and readers will see some examples of the arrogance of this movement in these videos.
After today, we do not intend to return to the subject of this man unless there is breaking news. Our prediction: unless this man gets some real help, there will be further negative news in the future.
